• How much does a tattoo cost?

That answer depends on who you ask and the size of the piece. Remember you get what you pay for. We do offer deals so come by the shop and see what we can do for you!

• Do tattoos hurt?

YES. The tattooing process requires pigment to be pushed under the first layer of your skin with a needle. However, a lot of people who have tattoos have more than one which says something about the pain overall.

• Do I need to know what I want before I get to the shop?

If you do thats great, if not we can work with you to come up with a great piece of art. We do accept walk-ins so come by anytime and talk to any one of our artists. We want you to leave with the best possible experience.

• How do I take care of my tattoo?

The next 15 days are crucial to make sure your tattoo heals as best as possible. We recommend to keep sun exposure to a minimum, apply ointment to the tattoo before it starts to scab, and no matter how much it itches DO NOT SCRATCH YOUR TATTOO.

• How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?

You must be at least 18 years of age to get a tattoo by anyone here at Nasty Tattoos.

Don't let the name fool you, here at Nasty Tattoos we take pride in our clean and sterile environment. We are also proud participants in the Artist Licensing and Sterilizer Monitoring Program.

No, we welcome any and all walk-ins.

• Are there any tattoos you won't do?

This really depends. Stop by the shop and lets talk.

• Do tattoos fade?

Yes, but how much depends on a few different things. All tattoos will fade over time, thats just life. Tattoos will also fade if the tattoo was not done properly, but more often than not it is a result of a poorly cared for tattoo. If you have a faded tattoo come by the shop and lets talk about doing a touch up.

• Do you do cover ups?

It is possible, but not always. Best advice would be come by the shop and lets see what the problem is.

• Can I still get a job if I have a tattoo?

Thats really hard to say. For some reason people still view tattoos as a bad thing, but if you are worried about getting fired or not being able to be hired with a tattoo you could consider the placement of the tattoo. Tattoos cane be hidden under clothing depending on where you choose to get tattooed.

• Are tattoos addictive?

Yes and no. The truth is many people who have tattoos have more than one. Just like someone can be hooked on the excitement of getting a new painting you can be hooked on the excitement of getting a new tattoo as well. Just like anything just be responsible and you should be fine.
